VIGNETTE Editions

is a small, independent publishing company founded in Oxford, England.

We specialise in short works of literary fiction and non-fiction, with a particular focus on short stories, novellas, travel writing, essays and poetry.

Vignette Editions was founded by the writer, Liz Fraser, to give a fresh platform to distinctive writing that resists easy categorisation and may be overlooked elsewhere as being too experimental, short or hard to market, and from a lifelong love of the whole book-making process.

Carefully selected, edited and printed on the highest quality paper,Vignette’s immediately recognisable covers and design will form a timeless and collectable library, where each book is a beautiful, meaningful object in itself, and every part of the book-making process is performed by skilled craftspeople who love what they do, and love working with us.

Vignette Editions will publish both single-author works and anthologies, and works by foreign-language authors translated into English.

We are currently hand-selecting our titles, and there are no submissions open.
